How ElevIQ Works

1. Individuals Complete the ElevIQ Assessment (5–7 minutes)

 The participant (veteran, student, family member, jobseeker, etc.) starts with the ElevIQ digital assessment.

It measures 84 behavioral indicators across four categories:

  • Mindset & Motivation 
  • Communication & Interaction Patterns 
  • Decision-Making & Cognitive Style 
  • Workstyle & Workplace Behaviors 

The assessment is fast, mobile-friendly, and written at an accessible reading level.

2. ElevIQ Generates a Behavioral Alignment Profile

 Immediately after completion, ElevIQ creates a Behavioral Alignment Profile, which includes:

  • Top strengths 
  • Growth opportunities 
  • Motivation drivers 
  • Stress patterns 
  • Engagement behaviors 
  • Career/education alignment signals 
  • Team compatibility signals 
  • Veteran–civilian transition alignment (if applicable) 

This becomes the foundation for coaching conversations and support programs.

3. Coaches Receive a “Session-Ready Briefing”

 Before a meeting, coaches see a 1–2 page briefing that prepares them instantly:

  • Key talking points 
  • Alignment risks 
  • Strength leverage points 
  • How the individual tends to communicate 
  • Best coaching approach for that individual 
  • Predicted barriers to success (motivation, focus, fear, confidence, etc.) 

It’s like starting a coaching or advising session with a full understanding of how the person thinks, communicates, and learns.

4. ElevIQ Maps Individuals to Real Pathways

 Using BAI indicators, ElevIQ compares the individual’s behavioral alignment to different pathways:

  • Career fields 
  • Training and education options 
  • Workforce readiness profiles 
  • Community resources 
  • Transition readiness for veterans 
  • Success traits related to specific job clusters 

This isn’t personality typing — it’s behavioral alignment intelligence, showing where someone is most likely to thrive and what needs support.

5. Coaches Use Intelligent Growth Plans

 ElevIQ recommends small, specific behavior shifts, such as:

  • Improve task follow-through 
  • Build communication clarity 
  • Strengthen confidence under stress 
  • Develop collaboration behaviors 
  • Increase adaptability 
  • Create structure or routines 

Each recommendation links to a coachable action. Coaches can also add their own notes, goals, or coaching plans.

6. Progress Tracking Over Time

 Each time the individual is re-assessed:

  • Progress is mapped 
  • Behaviors that improved are highlighted 
  • New patterns are detected 
  • Alignment shifts are measured 
  • Risks move from “high” to “moderate” or “low” 
  • Personalized coaching insights update automatically 

This creates a behavioral-change timeline that helps coaches show measurable improvement.

7. Community-Level Impact for Foundation Partners

 For ElevIQ Foundation programs (veteran events, youth programs, community colleges, family support):

Coaches and leaders receive anonymous trend insights:

  • What most people are struggling with 
  • Community-wide strengths
